Can it stand in the rain with no roof?
Yes — the steel cabinet and sealed cabin are built for open-air sites. A canopy is optional; it extends screen life in harsh sun but is not required for operation.
What happens in freezing winters?
The machine operates down to −10 °C and washes at a constant 38 °C, with full drying before the pet goes back into the cold. If your winters drop below −10 °C, tell us your climate — we’ll advise winterization or seasonal placement honestly.
Is it safe from vandalism?
Steel body, locked coin vault, tempered viewing window, cameras recording, and instant phone alerts on abnormal events. Card and QR revenue never sits in the machine.
Will the sun fade or overheat it?
It operates to 55 °C ambient. In desert-grade sun a canopy is smart for the screen’s long-term life — we’ll say so if your location needs it.
Can cats use an outdoor machine?
Yes — the cabin is sealed and quiet inside regardless of what’s outside, water holds at 38 °C, and there’s no fragrance system (scent sprays harm cats). Most outdoor traffic is dogs, but the machine serves both.
How much attention does it need?
Restock shampoo, empty the coin vault, rinse the pad. The machine disinfects itself after every pet and reports its own status to your phone.
What is the lead time?
